JEANSWEST_FITNESS_5013 I rarely wear print these days, but a workout short is a fun way too add a little spring to my step.

I am so happy to finally get the ball rolling! I spent many years thinking there was no pressing need to workout, as I was blessed with a slim figure and didn’t exactly like the gym or team sports. I lived with my friend Kate for a while, who is an amazing PT (find her here), I think I can pin-point my awareness of why core strength and fitness is important to those months living with her.

I spent a lot of the past two years trying out different fitness options, from training with a PT at the gym, rock climbing, boxing, pilates, yoga, swimming, power plates, ran up hills and in sand, ViPR training, went back to figure skating and more. I even attempted to run up Jacob’s Ladder (it is so tough!) and still have a few more things on my list to try.

Anyway- onto my workout wear, I generally stick to navy, grey and black workout clothing however I do have the odd printed piece, so for my second collaboration with Jeanswest (find the first back here) I thought I would share these shorts. They are not strictly workout designed- they aren’t made with the wicking technology for example that some of my other pieces are but I like to think that the print puts an extra spring in my step. (Also they are $30, which is not bad!)

I have a lot of fitness and workout wear posts to come- please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions!
