WINTER LAYERS AND IDA FAUX FUR

by jenellewitty@gmail.com

In his ‘See My Vest’ song, Mr Burns forgot the scarf. I made sure mine was Ida Faux Fur.

THE QUICKEST WINTER WARDROBE UPDATE

In looking for a quick wardrobe update for Winter that is both warm and lush, look no further than adopting a faux fur scarf.

Honestly this winter I have not added a great deal to my wardrobe. This coat, a wool knit jumper and this scarf are pretty much it.

I actually don’t think that at least in Perth or Sydney, you need not go too crazy in buying extra winter gear. A coat, jumper or scarf to throw on to beat the chill is going to get you by for most of the cold months. Layering and a good pair of boots with warm socks are vital but about all you need.

Maybe for our Melbourne and Adelaide readers you will need to adopt a few more warm pieces! Look for wool knits and socks! Do you guys have any tips for us? How do you do it?

INTRODUCING IDA FAUX FUR

This super long faux fur scarf is from Australian brand Ida Faux Fur. A new brand to me, I have to say I couldn’t be happier with it. The scarf is so soft and can be worn wrapped around, belted at the waist or flung over your shoulder. It is one of the quickest ways to update your winter wardrobe!

A little bit fancy, the faux fur will lift your style game in one swift step!

As I am typing this we are being hit with a downpour. Naturally I am trying to rework our group plans for an outdoor photo shoot tomorrow. Yet earlier today it was sunny. The weather is all over the place! Make up your mind Perth!

I swear that the winter months get longer each year. To be fair, the summer months do too. All the more reason to add something fun to your style!

Between that and a cup of coffee, I think you have some of the bases covered. Got any other tips for keeping warm over the winter? Anything I am missing?

Stay warm all! xx
