TRANSEASONAL TRENDS ON SALE

Once again, this week it is time for the famed Shopbop Feb sale. This is always one of those times I make the most of the discount and add either a big ticket item or a couple of pieces to my cart. Perfectly timed ahead of the new season, it’s a great time to either update essentials or jump on to some transeasonal trends. You guys all know I am not sold on trends in a big way, but I like to add a little bit here and there to keep my looks exciting and fresh. Below I wanted to share a few transeasonal trends that I am loving (and think are worthy of the investment longer term). They are all equally perfect for autumn or spring in the Northern Hempishere.

PUFF SLEEVES

First up, as you can see above, I am so so so into puff sleeves! This For Love And Lemons dress is just the cutest, I have been wearing it for months now and I am just coveting puff sleeves more and more. They have some really cute tops and dress options! Perfect with jeans and a low heel or boot, there are so many chic puff sleeved tops on my wishlist see below…

ANIMAL PRINT

I honestly don’t think I have shared a print so much in years, but the injection of so many cool animal prints into collections from my favourite designers has had me in a sartorial spin!

See some of the evidence here with a tiger stripe and here with that coveted leopard print midi slip skirt.

I’ve worn animal print tops and skirts but have my eye on denim, dresses, and accessories. This print theme is not going away in a hurry folks! Here I am braving wearing a tight crop top – yes, this was a really bold move for me – from Ronny Kobo. Ronny Kobo is equally doing cool animal print variations and puff sleeves at the moment, so make sure to take a look.

FLOWER PRINT

Well, this is certainly a never fail print in spring, as everyone wants to get back outside and celebrate fresh blooms. You guys in the Northern Hemisphere are coming into my favourite time of the year. And yep, I am jealous! So enjoy for me and rock some flower prints, please!

This dress I have on here is by Australian label (and masters of the dress) Bec and Bridge. Along with my fave Ganni bow heels – the perfect pairing for a feminine floral dress. And Ganni is another brand sporting plenty of puff sleeves, animal print and pink warm tones too.

Some more flower print dresses on my hot list are below.

WARM TONE COATS

A fresh new trench coat is really high on my wishlist at the moment. It is probably equally tied with a camel coat heading into winter. The beauty of a trench is that they are wearable all the time as an extra layer to ward off a chill. Plus they always look straight out of an Audrey Hepburn movie chic! Warm tones are still big with me at the moment and are one of the transeasonal trends that are longer-term classics. Below are a few on my radar.

WARM NEUTRALS

I am still really on the warm neutrals bandwagon after so many years gravitating to cool tone greys. This includes creams, ecru, tan, beige… etc etc. Anything warm that I can mix and match together in a neutral is basically catching my eye. It’s a nice change from darker cool tones!

WARM TONES IN SOFT PINK

Finally, one more thing on my radar is soft pink tones. For me, they pair so well with denim or other warm tones or even greys. I always find a few pink tones in my wardrobe, they add a little bit of sweetness and fun. All of these pieces are so wearable, I want to style them now!

WHAT ARE YOU ADDING TO YOUR WISHLIST?

Now that you all know what I am adding to mine, what are you guys adding to your wishlist? Let me know below! Any transeasonal trends that you are happy to have come back in? Any that you are avoiding? Personally, neon is a big no for me. I did that last time around and got very little wear out of the pieces I had. I’ll stick to my neutral shades.

Let me know if you need advice with sizing on anything you have seen me wearing too. Send me a DM or leave me a comment below. Happy to help!
