I know, it is no longer spring, but I wanted to share my spring beauty edit and discoveries, which have all been thoroughly tried and tested and loooooved!

Spring beauty edit for 2017 featuring Klorane dry shampoo

A little overdue, (hey, no pointing fingers!) but I still wanted to make good on a promise I made to share a seasonal beauty edit. So, while better late than never, the following is my spring beauty edit across skincare, haircare, fragrance and makeup. If you missed the last beauty feature, where I gave you the full rundown of all the products I loved and didn’t like from Mecca Cosmetica, find that post over here now.

Spring beauty edit for 2017 featuring Avene, Sigma Brushes, La Mer, Charlotte Tilbury, Aesop and Peter Thomas Roth products

Aesop Mouthwash Bain De Bouche – Truth is, I always stock this mouthwash in my bathroom. Not only is the bottle super cool but I like that it is alcohol-free and a spicy Clove Bud, Anise taste.

Aesop Geranium Leaf Body Balm – Though I have enough body lotions in my bathroom to choose a different scent every day of the week, this one remains my favourite and has held that title for years.

Avene Eau Thermale Gentle Toning LotionI am slowly trying the essentials range from Avene, but this toner is where I started. Super gentle, alcohol-free it is good for after a double cleanse without being too harsh.

Crème de la Mer Moisturising Cream  – Luxe, but my favourite moisturiser.

Peter Thomas Roth 24k Gold Pure Luxury Lift Firm Prism Cream – Made with pure 24 karat gold, you have to believe this gives you glowing skin. Mostly I use it as a highlighter.

La Mer Sheer Pressed Powder –  Light-reflecting pigments create a soft blurring effect for a multi-dimensional look that’s matte and shine free. Perfect for normal to oily skin like mine!

La Mer Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation SPF 20 – Blends soft colour, renewing hydration and Miracle Broth. Pores look refined,  while imperfections virtually disappear. SPF and antioxidants help to protect a flawless complexion. This foundation is pure magic.

Jo Malone London Green Almond & Redcurrant Cologne – This Christmas release fragrance is sweet and seriously dreamy. I was hooked on the English Oak and Redcurrant Cologne but have been cheating on it with this one since it arrived. I just love that Redcurrant scent.

Chloe Eau de Parfum or the Toilette – (I have both!) with notes of rose, enhanced by lychee, freesia and pink peony, is one of those feminine fragrances I always go back to.

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow – The best-looking compact ever and one of the best solutions to highlight and contour your face. This has come in handy while I have travelled and done makeup for events and weddings.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Sexy Sienna – Inspired by one of my favourites, Sienna Miller, the coral hue is just perfect. So much so that as the maid of honour at my best friends wedding, the makeup artist used this one on me. You can tell I love it!

Eye Of Horus Lipsticks in Peach and Rose I talked about my Eye Of Horus haul back here a few months ago if you missed the low down on this natural Australian company. These two lipsticks in their BIO range are 98% natural and 100% vegan. They have a soft and satiny finish without drying up the lips.

Salt by Hendrix Lip Butter – Made from plant-based ingredients, this pot is keeping my lips hydrated, even if the deep pot is tricky to get the product out of without a brush.

Intense Formulas Facial Oil – A multi-purpose face serum, defends against free radicals, supports natural elasticity, and contains beneficial vitamins and fatty acids. I have been using this overnight as an intense moisturising solution.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation – As much as I love my more luxury foundations, I tend to save those. For every day, I try more affordable options including this new lightweight foundation from Rimmel.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Breathable Concealer – I also decided to try the concealer, which I generally use to brighten up the skin under my eyes. It has a cushion applicator which I don’t use, but the concealer is a cheaper alternative to the YSL Touche Éclat that I love.

Estee Lauder Pure Colour Love LipsticksI own at least 8 of these shades, they are non-drying, buildable and come in so many shades. The reds are my favourites.

Spring beauty edit for 2017 featuring Vanity Planet cleansing brush and brush head set

Vanity Planet Ultimate Skin Spa A facial cleansing brush set with different brush heads that I have been using a lot lately. It gives such a deep clean, a massage or a light buff. Something I shared on Instagram recently was that they Vanity Planet guys gave me a discount code for 70% off this set, taking it down to less than $50AUD if you want to try it. Use code: inspiringwit and shop it here.

Spring beauty edit for 2017 featuring Klorane Mango hair care range

It occurs to me that hair care is something I almost exclusively share on Instagram @inspiringwit though I am not so sure why. There have been two brands that in the spring months have transformed my locks into the happy and soft dream hair that I have wanted for so long.

The first of which has been Klorane. I have thus far discovered that they make some of the best dry shampoo on the market and I have been using both the Peony and Mango lines.

Klorane Shampoo with Mango Butter – Has been very nourishing to repair my dry and dehydrated hair. It also smells super tropical which is naturally a plus!

Klorane UV Filter Oil – This spray is kind of like a sunscreen for your hair, so I have been using it to smooth and protect when I am heading outside. It is a beach essential that I will keep on hand all summer.

Aveda is the second brand that has been transforming my hair. Their treatments are the perfect thing to keep my hair soft and glossy, while the styling sprays have held in the beachy waves I love to create. #happyhairdays indeed.

Aveda Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment – I am guessing I have about two weeks worth of this treatment left in the bottle before I will sadly need to replace it.

Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair – This leave-in treatment protects my hair from the heat damage of my irons and curling wands.

Aveda Paddle Brush – Good for detangling and a little head massage. Who doesn’t need that?!

Aveda Texture Tonic – Holds in the waves without being crunchy, gives it a little extra texture.

That is it this time around! I hope you have enjoyed my spring beauty edit. Any of these products on your wish list? Please ask me any questions about them below. Have you tried something? Spotted a favourite? Let me know in the comments. I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

With more to come for summer, stay tuned and keep up in the meantime @inspiringwit on Instagram. And of course, make sure to say hi! I love hearing from you all.

FYI: Products above are a mix of things I have been gifted and that I have bought. All thoughts and impressions, as always, remain my own. Vanity Planet kindly gifted via Shopping Links collaboration.
