When you love something… The Réalisation Par dress everyone is wearing and apparently so am I!

I am probably jumping around a bit here, having gone from a wool-coat look back to a flirty summer dress, but we are currently experiencing weather that can be chilly and overcast to warm and sunny from one day to the next. So forgive me, but I think you might just see a mix of sartorial styles from me for a few weeks to come. For those of you in the Northern hemisphere, this may just work to suit you, heading into spring.

Alright so this dress is everywhere, you will have seen it before, but I just HAD to wear it! I’ve always been a dress girl, they really are a bit of a weakness for me, despite my love for menswear and for being a bit of a tomboy. What is not to love about a flirty, silk wrap dress? I am so in love!

REALISATION PAR DRESS

If you have like me, been eyeing off any of the Réalisation Par dresses, I would suggest considering your sizing carefully. I am wearing the size small, it was a perfect fit on me and I am usually between an Australian size 6-8. The dress is quite short, so taller girls would need to go up a size, but the wrap style is pretty accomodating for this. The fabric is light but not see-through and the wind really blows open the slit, so bare that in mind.

I love that you can take these dresses from season to season by wearing them under a jacket or coat, with boots, or layering them over a turtle neck or tee. Of course, now that I know my size, I want a couple of their other dresses. Might have to save up for that order!

What is your favourite style of dress? A summery mini? A shirt dress? A minimal maxi shift? One of each? Let me know!
