Print on print, matching bohemian prints for a modern take on a seventies classic. Oh, and where to find the best beachside coffee in Adelaide.

ANYONE BEACH CRAVING?

I can not tell you how much I miss these Adelaide beaches. Sure we have beaches all along Perth, so my options are plentiful but honestly I am not the biggest fan of them. (I say this, knowing a LOT of locals will think I am mad for saying that!). Honestly, I love the calm, clear waters of the Adelaide coast line, without the strong winds or waves. I even prefer the sandbars and of course, the many jetty’s. Spoiled for choice?

Yeah, I completely get the silliness of this preference- for many people a beach of any sort sounds like a dream.

C.R.E.A.M. – Coffee lovers, listen up!

Anyhow, while in Adelaide this time around, we headed to our local beach Brighton on three (of the six) mornings for breakfast at my friend’s cafe (who also happens to be an award winning barista and makes the best coffee in Adelaide), C.R.E.A.M. (Coffee Rules Everything Around Me – and yes, there are plenty of Wu Tang references in there!) Of course, we also used the excuse to swim and make the most of the stunning calm water.

It is by now needless to say that I also used the excuse to snap my favourite print on print look on the jetty.

PRINT ON PRINT

Though I have very few prints in my wardrobe, this bohemian print is just the right amount of sexy-Parisian, bordering on rock territory when worn with some of my favourite boots. The flip skirt reminds me of the sort of short bohemian skirts Isabel Marant always sends down the runway. Which of course I love! I have worn this top so much lately, the seventies billowed sleeves are so cool. Together though, I am not usually so keen to wear print on print but I may be coming around.

What do you guys think? Together or as separates?
