Hello all! It feels like it has been a long time since I last wrote anything for the blog- I can not believe a week flew past without any posts but then again, I was on holiday after all! The temptation to slip back into work mode is all too easy, I had to stop myself. Luckily (?) for me toward the end of our travels my laptop dislodged its RAM so I had a bit of forced time off. I have the BIGGEST back log of photos, posts and video to share. I actually can not even remember what I do and don’t have- once it is shot, I tend to move on and think of the next projects often before the work is completed. I guess often for me the creative side of working on a story- coming up with the idea, location, styling and later editing completes for me the creative process before I even get to share the content.

I think the only reason that my smile isn’t bigger in these photos was because I was so sleepy. Or cold…? I noticed that I got a lot sillier in the photo roll as it went along. Perhaps you will pick up on that when we cut our video together. All the same, being in Paris, at one of my favourite spots (the Palais Royale) without all of the tourists made me very happy!

Anyway, I will have more to fill you in on next week, but essentially we have landed back in Australia now and I am still sick from Morocco, so I am having tests done and working out how to fix that. It’s not Ebola (I checked!) but it is safe to say my stomach doesn’t exactly hold up to the food options in a country like Morocco. :( The good news is that now I am home I can make myself all of the vitamin rich and healthy foods and smoothies I love and avoid dairy and gluten as much as I like comfortably! I am by no means ungrateful of being able to travel- I should possibly have prepared my diet for it a little more before I left!
