There is nothing boring about these warm neutrals!
END OF SUMMER
Realising that I have recently been posting a lot of long, lengthy reads of late, it is overdue for a happy little ‘here is what I am loving’ one-off outfit. So, I’ll keep it brief! Though this week officially ends our summer, the heat has yet to subside. As we make our way slowly into the deep descent of winter, I find myself, for once embracing warm tones.
NOTHING BORING IN NEUTRALS
Caramel, camel, beige and the in-between mix and match with one another seamlessly. Not only that, warm neutral-tones are the perfect base to combine with pops of colour. Excellent with reds, mustards and pinks and if I am honest, denim! Textures, such as the leather of this mini, bamboo or wool keep things interesting. I love to play around with texture and shape- which is exactly why this new Cult Gaia bag caught my eye. Of course, I had seen the Cult Gaia Ark bag and loved it but it was the handle on this circle bag that drew me in. The wooden beads are slightly sculptural and have this tactile quality that I love.
Not to rest there, I am obsessed with this Ganni tee and with Ganni in general! The Copenhagen based label is always coming out with cool, fun and memorable pieces that aren’t to be reserved for special occasion. These days if I am going to add something back to my wardrobe I want it to be worn a lot! I should also mention that this is my second banana tee! Nothing boring at all!
BACK SOON!
This week I am putting together some more quick outfit posts for you guys, I have my overdue reading list post and am working on sharing a little about our stay last weekend at the beautiful Tradewinds Hotel. These photos were shot there on the stunning rooftop terrace and this is making me want to go back already!
