There is nothing like an early morning swim after a long few weeks at work.
It is not until your feet are swept up in the shallow waves that you realise it had been too long. At least, that is how it felt for Mario and I this morning at Trigg.
While the summer rages away each day, I have spent a lot of time inside working away, so the brief moments outdoors feel that much richer. My never ending love for swimwear continues this season as I try out a handful of brands like this two-piece I designed with Surania. Surania – a Barcelona based company have been online in the Australian swimwear market for a couple of years, offering inexpensive but high quality customisable swimwear.
Custom-making your own swimwear is pretty fun exercise, you can pick your style, cut, colours, patterns and finally add in your own measurements to ensure the fit is just right. I designed three sets of bikinis… (slight obsession?) which I will share over the summer (more excuses to swim, yes please!). This first one is probably my favourite, purely because of the colour. Of course I could have mixed prints and colour together, but for the most part I like to keep things understated. The cost is pretty impressive, the top here was under $40 and the bottom under $20, which for a made to measure job is damn good.
