It’s that time of year here in Australia, where arts festivals are leading our social agendas. Hailing from Adelaide (and growing up involving myself in the arts), arts festivals are just a part of my life. For anyone who is new to Inspiring Wit, you may not know of my background as a designer for live performance and events. Before the Perth International Arts Festival kicks off, I thought I would share my picks of this years Perth Fringe World Festival.

Officially opening last Friday, I have managed to catch a couple of shows thus far and explore some of the venues. Keep following along on Instagram stories @inspiringwit this week for more.

For anyone reading who is not hailing from Australia, I would love to hear about your local arts festivals. What happens in your part of the world? Do you get out to enjoy many cultural events?
