For something a little bit different, some of my favourite designers that I love mixing with my high street staples. And naturally, they are all on sale.

When it comes to interesting and unique designer pieces, there is somewhat of a lengthy list of key designers I go back to. What do I look for? Essentially, quality, uniqueness and longevity. Whilst I love things to be interesting, I also hate wasting money on something I won’t wear for years to come. Today, I wanted to share a few of these designers. Below are a few older photos from the past year or longer with a smattering of these designers. While the specific items are not necessarily still current, I’ve updated an edit of stunning pieces from the newer collections. Of course, these are all on sale. It’s that time of year!

This week, leading up to Black Friday, Shopbop are hosting “5 DAYS OF SHOPBOP”. Each day there are different offers (some are limited to one day only!). Thus far they have added new designers to their epic sale and shared a day of exclusive sale deals. As I hit publish, the Party-At-Home Pieces sale edit is amazing! Score big-time sale deals early!

MANU ATELIER

< SHOP THE EDIT >

I have a soft spot for smaller luxury bag and shoe brands who don’t feel the need to copy the big designers. Neither do they feel the desire to flash about over the top logos on everything. Manu Atelier is a perfect example of one of these brands. This past season I’ve had not one but two beautiful, ladylike bags on my wish list. Thus far they have eluded me by quickly selling out. Which is not to say there aren’t other stunning pieces in their collections. On the contrary, there are plenty!

STAUD

One of the brands I’ve adored in recent years, Staud just kill it every season. I love their often quirky designs and adoption of classic prints in a bold way. Not to mention their beautiful accessories. Their bags are instant classics! Ladylike yet cool and unexpected.

ISABEL MARANT

< SHOP THE EDIT >

An all time favourite. Isabel Marant has been a weakness of mine for a long time now. I’ve been saving up and spending my hard earned on her stunning pieces for years. Wearable, timeless and effortlessly cool, I love mixing Isabel Marant pieces in with my high street staples. They do all the talking for me and I always feel a little more bohemian or rock and roll wearing them.

BY FAR

< SHOP THE EDIT >

This super cool Australian brand is inescapable on Instagram if you follow any it girl celeb or fashion blogger. By Far are easily a weakness of mine too. hehe there’s a pattern here. I’ve adopted a few bags and a number of their cool, low heeled sandals into my collection. The funny thing is the bags I love most almost remind me of pencil cases with a bag strap. Yet I honestly love them. They add cool and carry just enough to put any final touch to an outfit.

SIMON MILLER

< SHOP THE EDIT >

Another brand I find cooler than cool is Simon Miller. Though some pieces are more daring than my style these days, I love them! The strappy heels I got to wear to Ashleigh D’Mello’s wedding are some of my favourites. I danced all night in them with no dramas. Naturally, since I am a bag and shoe lover, their bags are on my radar. Sometimes it is an unexpected bag or shoe which transforms an outfit entirely.
