Being a perfectionist, making newsletters, beige bombers and leather…
Hey all, I can not believe how quickly this week is going, nor that my last post was at the start of the weekend! The last week or so Mario and I were touched with a bit of a cold so have been trying to rest and work on behind the scenes projects (hence a few days without posting). I always have stories ready to go (that I could have published), but if you are a perfectionist like me, you will understand the tweaking and last minute change of mind that may go on before you send something out into the world. I sometimes change my mind and dismiss a story that I was all set to post, or hold off on it and wait till the timing is right.
What I can tell you is that I have been working on finally putting an email Newsletter together- something I had wanted to do right from the get-go with Inspiring Wit, but hadn’t gotten to. I will soon have a sign up panel on our homepage, the Newsletter will be a bit more of a personal short email from me about the things we have coming up, asking you what you wish to see me explore on the blog (eg, want more winter coat suggestions?) and feature a few posts you may have missed. I’ll send these out from time to time, but not weekly or anything super annoying like that.
Onto this beige look though, it is truly a luxe but understated winter look- I love that this jacket, although beige and neutral still has that street wear edge thanks to the bomber details. I would probably go so far as to say it is my favourite OnceWas piece. Perhaps it is the long line, the soft lambs wool or just that I feel pretty boss wearing it. If you are on the look out for a coat that isn’t fitted, is a little bit different and has some serious edge, this one is my recommendation. This entire look is OnceWas, the leather pants (although slightly too big on me- I like to wear them a little more fitted) are so lush and well cut, if you want a good leather pair, these are really reasonable for the cost as the quality is spot on.
That is enough from me today, back soon with a new Autumn menu review from one of my favourite and most possibly overlooked Perth restaurants.
