HOW TO HYDRATE AND REPAIR YOUR HAIR

I have been trying out a new hair treatment for the past couple of months which I actually think is one of the best I have tried. My hair has not been this soft in a very long time, nor has it been so easy to manage. The new Marula Oil series from Paul Mitchell is one of the most luxurious hair care ranges I have used- from the matte black glass bottles to the strength of the rare very concentrated oils, it is beautiful (and no, I am not being paid to say this!).

WHAT IS MARULA OIL?

So, what is Marula Oil? It is harvested from a nut inside an African fruit. It absorbs quickly and penetrates deeply into the hair and skin. It’s like Argan Oil, but better.

The Rare Oil Treatment oils are cold-pressed, with more than 50% protective antioxidants than Argan oil. The high concentration of nutrients and oelic acids hydrate, repair and moisturise at the deepest levels.

THE RESULTS

Over the course of a couple of months, I am noticing my split ends are reduced, which given I have a terrible habit of pulling at them, is a blessing. The Rare Oil Treatment is super concentrated so I tend to limit it to just a few drops worked through my lengths. It makes a huge difference to the feel, my hair is so much softer for it.

In addition to the oils, I have been using the sulphite free Replenishing Shampoo which is soft and gentle and the Replenishing Conditioner (A LOT! I feel this will run out very soon!) is smoothing my hair like nothing else! The Light Treatment Oil I use before I wash my hair as a pre-treatment, after while it dries and throughout to tame any frizz or add a little more smoothness in.

So needless to say, I rate these oils pretty darn highly. From the matte black jars to the smoothness of my hair, I can not share my love of them more!!
