Three ways (of many, if I’m honest) that I’ve been pairing black with cream for easy going everyday outfits.
Lately I have noticed that all I seem to be reaching for to wear are beige tones or a mix of black and cream. It’s not intentional, it just seems to be a subconscious thing. Though, to be fair, lately, I’ve added a couple of cream jeans, pants and jumpers to my wardrobe. Plus my new cream boots. So maybe I am just mixing up the black. Next on my wishlist? I have to commit to a cream blazer. After selling off a couple I had that didn’t quite fit right last year, a replacement is still on the list.
3 WAYS I’M WEARING BLACK WITH CREAM
Below are three of the outfits I’ve been wearing all the time lately. Let me know which is your favourite. I can’t decide! None are particularly wintery, they are good for those non-freezing days.
I could wear this combo every day. A simple black tee, which I usually paired with black jeans has a new lease on life with cream jeans. Now I just have to make sure I don’t spill anything over them!
WEARING: ANINE BING BLAZER, EVERLANE TEE, BODEN CROP PANTS, CULT GAIA BAMBOO BAG, SLIDES, ASTLEY CLARKE BANGLE, MURKANI NECKLACES, ASTLEY CLARKE CHAIN BANGLE,
Nothing new here. I adore a little cream cotton dress with a few ruffles. Pair them with an old faithful leather jacket and some boots to toughen the ruffles up. It gives a new lease on life to a spring-summer dress as long as you are brave enough in winter to dare to go bare legged.
How cool are these Joseph boots? I eyed them off in black, snake print or cream. Cream ultimately won this time just to mix things up. Black is my answer to everything but I really do have to branch out. Though I am still not so sure on snake print, I think I am coming around to it. Slowly. The same cannot be said for snakes. No thank you!
