I don’t think I’ve ever really worn a head to toe cream look in separates. But I love it and I hope I can pull it off without spilling my daily coffee!
4 WAYS TO WEAR CROPPED PANTS
Recently I shared a 4 Ways to Wear styling video on my IGTV all about Cropped Pants. These cropped pants. Truth be told, I hung a bunch of things in a similar warm neutrals colour palette onto my clothes rack and began filming with no plan on what I’d share. The pants had arrived a couple of days earlier from Boden and I instantly loved them. While I ordered them with this cream head to toe look in mind, I didn’t know how else I would wear them.
Something that surprised me, making the video, was how many looks I quickly and effortlessly created. These pants went with everything! If you want to check out the video, head to my IGTV page @inspiringwit to see the four looks.

CREAM HEAD TO TOE OUTFIT
But back to this look. So far, I have managed to wear it once successfully with no coffee spills, so I am gaining confidence slowly. And no surprise, I’m not ready to test being around a glass of red wine just yet. Would you?
A nice fresh look for summer or the transeasonal weather, there is something about a cream head to toe outfit like this. It feels both resort ready or could-rain-at-any-moment-and-I-wouldn’t-mind. Actually, I would probably run for cover to protect my shoes! The linen shirt (also from Boden) is yet another in my collection, but I swear the gold thread detail makes it just different enough. Sticking to the cream palette, I added pearl hair clips (which are everywhere right now! Mine were from Pixie Market) and matching sunglasses. Throw over a trench coat, or a soft knit and it’s safe to ward off the chill.
As for what I was up to this particular day? We had just had brunch with Mario’s friend group and knowing I’d hold one of his friend’s babies and likely sit next to their three-year-old while she ate, I wasn’t wearing this outfit. Are you surprised? Nope! Naturally, I changed after brunch for the day. Though I might have gotten away with it, I wasn’t taking any chances. So if you are going to try cream head to toe, that’s my warning. Be aware around kids or anyone telling very exciting stories (with added hand gestures) over coffee or a glass of wine.
