I may still be travelling for a few more weeks, but I thought I would take the opportunity to shoot in Paris a look for the upcoming Spring Racing season back in Australia. Of course, as I tend to lean toward black and white most of the time, Derby Day looks are generally my favourite and this beautiful dress by Talulah is my pick for 2015.
As a general rule, I should have paired this with some form of millinery but I preferred not to, opting instead to accessorise with the silver twisted cuff from Najo as a feature. Teaming this with a lace-up block heeled shoe, ensures stability and comfort over the course of a long day. I love a pump with a stiletto heel, however, the block heel offers that extra support needed for a day on your feet. Finally to add a little extra toughness to the look- a leather jacket (which I feel is my answer for everything!).
I have a few more looks to share with you which we shot while in Paris, these I will get up here as I can- along with some of the local picks we have been finding for food, experiences and places to stay. I think we are about half way into our trip and I am happy to have had changes in weather- meaning I think I have almost rotated wearing everything I am lugging around at least once! We landed in Portugal today- a new place for me, on what will likely be the slow, relaxed beachy leg our our travels. If anyone has any recommendations for Portugal, let me know- we still have more to plan and book!
