While in Paris, which flew by all too fast (and some people implied we were staying too long), we stayed in the Marais, which was the best base being a close walk down to the Seine, or over to the Tuileries and so on. One afternoon when on a walk for dinner we walked back through this spot, which was pleasantly empty and Mario kindly shot these photos for me. Apologies for the photo overload- but the sunlight was just so nice.
I love Paris, there is just so much to see and do, I could not get enough. It was a lot colder than I had expected so I found my blazer and leather jacket on rotation while I wore jeans a lot more than I would have liked, but we managed to avoid any rain. I had a really long list of things I wanted to get to see during our stay and we got a lot of them ticked off, but I feel that I have left a bit of a chunk for the last few days of our trip when we head back to Paris.
Can I just move there already??
