One of the most wearable collections that stayed on my mind after MBFWA was the C/MEO COLLECTIVE Resort 17 presentation. As the collection is due to drop shortly, prepare to find some covetable pieces for your summer to come.
C/MEO COLLECTIVE AT MBFWA 2016
Casting back to the 18th of May, I was in Sydney to attend MBFWA and check out a few shows, previewing the resort collections due to drop between spring and summer. One of the shows which stood out for me, namely for capturing how I would like to dress this season and for being so commercially accessible was C/MEO Collective.
JUST IN TIME FOR SUMMER
As these looks are due to drop soon, rather than share them in the middle of winter, I thought I would save them till now. This way, rather than forget, these will be fresh in your mind as you hunt down your summer wardrobe updates. Prepare to add covetable pieces from the Resort 17 C/MEO collection to your wish lists!
SO MUCH TO COVET
Neck ties, messy buns, ruffles, tiny accordion pleats, fringing, wrap around tailoring, wide leg trousers, slip dresses and camisoles… to list the details that make up this collection, it has it all. Yet the blush, powder blue, white and black pallet kept the theme cohesive and so covetable.
Styled with soft suede mules and drop earrings the collection takes a seventies inspired vision and translates it for the 2017 summer season. A signature C/MEO COLLECTIVE directional print of the muted tones took hold in my mind, I am waiting patiently to snap one of these floaty dresses up. The collection is so wearable, I knew I had to share it with all of you.
Clean, minimal and bohemian, the collection hit the nail on the head for what we want to be wearing into 2017. For their first stand alone show at MBFWA, designer Siham Elmawey did an excellent job.
I would of course love to know what you all think of the collection? Can you see a few pieces that you would love to get your hands on?
As I do wear a fair bit of C/MEO (collectively I shop from the BNKR labels a lot, though C/MEO would be my favourite), I was so happy with this show. It definitely stayed on my mind, I look forward to seeing it hit the stores soon.
Please let me know which looks are your favourites below! Is anyone else in love with that print? Or need one of those double breasted blazers?
