BUEN RETIRO PARK MADRID
The Buen Retiro Park in Madrid was such a beautiful place to wander through on an early morning walk. With the beautiful sunlight streaming through the trees and locals rowing boats on the pond, it felt timeless and peaceful. I love that formal gardens can take you away from the thoughts of a big city. I suppose the English translation of the name Park of the Pleasant Retreat says it all.
We walked down to the gardens and took advantage of the light to shoot my outfit of the day. While there, we took in an open exhibition in one of the halls and spotted another fashion shoot. It is easy to see the park inspiring artists and creatives as well as ourselves. The Buen Retiro Park was easily one of the most beautiful gardens I have visited. Not far from the main squares of the city, it is a great spot to walk out to.
SO MUCH TO SHARE!
I think it is a testament to how much I have been busy working since our return that I have not shared more of our travels here with you. I have SUCH a back log of stories and images to share. Slowly but surely I will have these coming through- so excuse me while our timelines gets a little jumbled as I switch back and forth between the everyday goings on in Perth and our travel adventures.
While time passes quickly for me here, it is comforting to know that little changes in the realm of European travel. If you have any questions for me or are planning your own European travels, feel free to ask questions.
