The key to feeling confident when you are getting dressed. Plus a bohemian blouse look, since I love them so.
To be completely honest, I shot these photos to share this look on my Instagram but wasn’t really thinking I’d put it into a blog post. At the time I’d been having a lot of trouble sleeping, so I hid behind my glasses as we ventured out into the city for a quick breakfast on a quiet Sunday morning. I like those early hours the most. People are not there rushing to work on a Sunday, they are usually just tourists looking for a good food place. Sunday trading for stores doesn’t kick off here until after 11 am so there are no people. It’s awesome! haha Clearly, I don’t like to share!
Anyway, this is a look that when I try to come up with something to talk to you guys about, I can’t help but think, this is just me in my favourite things. Sometimes I get that awful feeling of pressure before we go out to an event, wondering what to wear. The key thing is though, to think a little selfishly. By this I mean, if you dress for yourself, you will naturally be more confident and comfortable. Rather than think you have to dress in whatever is expected to fit in with a crowd if you are just you, it makes the event so much better. No stress.
So, without drawing this post out, this is just me, enjoying my quiet morning in some of my favourite pieces. A bohemian blouse (which is new season from my mates at Bohemian Traders– not sure if they know we are mates, but I love their stuff so there you go!) and the black leather things that make my heart sing.
