If you consider yourself a traveller, this one is for you. Something I was hunting down for some time, every wanderluster needs one of these. Finding the best backpack for travel and everyday.
FINDING THE BEST BACKPACK (WAS A CHALLENGE!!)
Something I have been looking for for some time now has been a good backpack. Generally, I just carry all of my gear around in a basket day to day (see some proof of that over here). But I found that I needed a stronger, more practical solution long term. When I travel, in particular, I often take my computer, notebooks, spare clothes and camera gear. Those all need a safe carryall that is also kind on my back.
While backpacks aren’t necessarily the chicest option when it comes to carrying around your gear, they are practical. I was determined to find one that was at least a little chic. It had to be sturdy, include a little bit of leather, and come in one of my colours. For the record, these are olive green, mustard yellow, red or burgundy, black, navy, dusty blue or dusty pink and neutrals.
EVERY WANDERLUSTER NEEDS ONE OF THESE
I found Gaston Luga on Instagram, which is where I tend to come across most new to me brands these days. Maybe because I am always on it. This is a problem. Haha! Getting in touch with the Gaston Luga guys, they kindly gifted me one to try and to share with you guys. (As always my impressions and thoughts shared remain my own). So far I have taken this one on a few of my travels and have really appreciated the size and quality. This one is definitely for the wanderluster.
The Pråper Backpack
The sleek, minimal design caught my eye and after a quick wrestle between wanting an olive or an all black backpack, the deal was done. Ticking the requirements on my list, the Pråper backpack included a 13-15″ padded laptop compartment, passport pocket, leather details, feet at the base and could expand easily if needed. Tick, tick, tick! It is very sturdy and durable, perfect for everyday use. Durability is vital for me. So many other backpack brands I have tried have frayed on the bottom corners or had the straps eventually break. If you are carrying expensive tech equipment as often as I am, you have to make sure your bag will keep it safe.
Gaston Luga offers free shipping + 20% off as tax rebate (from non-EU countries) + 15 % off with the code InspiringWit15 on the remaining price after tax rebate.
Of course, now I am finding that Mario is pretty keen to use this olive one. I may just have to use the code for myself for another! What do you guys think, shall I give it to him? Next on my wish list was either this chic black Scandi inspired option or the same bag again in white.
