How to get the most of your gym session with confidence. Back to basics activewear to ensure you get the best workout!
I like to keep things simple. While I do love rich colours, for the most part, I tend to leave the majority of them be. While you can distract with pattern and print, keeping things understated with essential black and whites ensures that you can carry on with getting the most out of your allocated 50min workout.
Black and white could not get much easier. The combination is calming, basic and fuss free. It may not be for everyone, or for everyday, but it can be. If I am waking up early, need to clear my head and get active, pulling the activewear drawer open and grabbing whatever is handy is made a little more stylish knowing everything goes together.
A case of mix and match, ensuring you have black and white basics means you can pull on any piece and mix it with any other (yes, even the printed stuff!). Then all you need to focus on is feeling the burn and embracing the shake. Honestly, the last thing any woman needs when working out is worrying about what they are wearing (and those mirrors can often be unfriendly enough- my workout face is not something I tend to want reflected back at me!). Below are pieces I am either wearing or the counter part. Build your own style, mix and match. All are from Lorna Jane and Nike, as pictured above.
